I have just graduated from an MA in TV Journalism from City, University of London. For my final project, I developed and produced a half-hour documentary about people in relationships with AI chatbots, which I am actively promoting. You can see it on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gz45v4cWoCE. Making the film made me aspire to produce my own commissioned documentaries for broadcast.

I'm primarily looking for work as a researcher in documentary productions but I am also open to gaining experience in running and production for film and TV more generally. 

Having studied Zoology for my undergraduate degree, I decided to undertake a wildlife filmmaking course in South Africa, where I shot a short documentary about the country's wildlife industry (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgwoW2cseVw). I found that I loved interviewing people, and researching the perspectives and workings behind contentious issues, which made me want to pursue documentary filmmaking. 

I'm particularly interested in stories that hone in on local issues and give breathing room for people to express their perspective in depth. During my Journalism MA, I pursued stories on London school closures, the living wage, NHS outsourcing, healthcare accessibility, AI companions, rewilding, and campaigns and enforcement in the planning system.
