I'm a curious, enthusiastic individual currently working as a Play Cafe coordinator, with a deep love for filmmaking, TV, Theatre, and Art. I grew up learning English from music and media in Hong Kong, so have always immersed myself in international entertainment. I recently graduated from Lancaster University with a First in Film and Theatre, where I had the opportunity to experiment, try new things, and improve my practice. My willingness to get involved and challenge myself allowed me to work on nine student films, and over twelve theatre productions through the last three years. I worked solo on two films during lockdown, which saw me taking on the role of director, editor, gaffer, performer, spark, producer, sound recordist, and composer! I learn quickly and am adept at most web-based applications like Office 365 and Google Workspace, alongside a handful of various practical knowledge from training, like fire safety and GDPR.  I am now looking for opportunities to upskill and get my foot in the industry's door. I hope to gain invaluable experience in what professional productions are like, how they are overseen and how runners and production assistants keep it all working!
