I am an award-winning documentary director based in New Zealand. I spent 5 years working for the Travel Channel in London, honing my skills in making humorous presenter-led documentaries.  I was chosen as a lead director for New Zealand’s first Netflix original David Farrier’s ‘Dark Tourist’. I am one of the top voices in the country’s documentary landscape, sought after for my ability to mesh comedy and documentary with great research and casting. 

I created the series ‘Patrick Gower: On’ for Warner Bros. Discovery NZ, which has been a smash hit for the network. They have been the highest-rated documentaries on New Zealand television for five years running. ‘Patrick Gower: On Weed’ took home “Best Director (Documentary/Factual)” at the New Zealand Television Awards. I am also an award-winning editor.
