Decky Mc Gettigan is nothing short of a casting wizard. I hired him to cast a quick turnaround dating format with multiple contributors and I was really impressed with how he put together a stellar, considered and diverse mix of contestants. Decky really loves casting and people, which comes through in his boundless enthusiasm and a truly refreshing attitude towards the task in hand and the process of finding interesting people and stories worthy of being committed to TV and social. He is super organised. His zoom castings/ edited tapes down and contributor biogs were all first rate. On shoot days his contrib management was sublime and he had a plethora of backups on speed dial in the case the dreaded Covid reared it’s ugly head (which thank goodness, it never did). I would book Decky again in a heartbeat. He’s a brilliant, reliable casting producer and a top fella. It’s no wonder they call him THE CASTING UNICORN - he spreads magic and joy all over his productions.
