I am eager to find permanent work as an Assistant Producer, Production Assistant, or BTS photographer/videographer for a film company or studio in the hopes of utilising my all-rounded filmmaking experience to set foot on larger sets and more ambitious projects, and continue growing as a filmmaker.
You can access more information about my prior work via the links above, but in short:
I graduated from University College London with a First Class degree in History and an English Literature masters with merit. These academically rigorous courses broadened my perspective and taught me how to learn.
Over the last few years, starting from my time at university and heavy involvement in the UCL Film & TV Society, I have been working on set in various capacities; learning about, and gaining experience in, numerous roles on set, with the intention of being a well-rounded filmmaker and storyteller.
I utilised my acquired experience to Write, Direct, Produce and Edit 3 short films of my own with Campdale Motion - a collective of London-based filmmakers making independent films. My debut short, ‘Precipice’, secured the Future of Film Awards' Best First Time Director, whilst my micro-short super 8mm film, 'My Cuppa Tea', was awarded runner up for Best Micro Short at the BIFA qualifying Brighton Rocks Film Festival.
I am also always open to collaborating with other Directors as Cinematographer if I connect with the story. Indeed, I have been involved in two films with Campdale Motion as Director of Photography. The first of these, ‘The Holy Yield’, earned the TerrorMolins Film Festival's Best Short Film award, whilst the second is currently in post-production.
