If I am passionate about something, then I will give it my all until it is completed to the highest possible standards. I am very well organised and believe that time management is the key to success. I wish to discover new challenges and innovate new skills and concepts as the media industry advances and evolves. I wish to further discover what is beneath the surface in the media industry and hopefully turn my passion into my paycheck!
Over the past couple of years, I have gained experience across a number of television productions, including Junior Bake Off, The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off and The Great British Bake Off, working in roles including Production Secretary, Celebrity Researcher, Production Runner and Office Runner. Through these roles, I have developed a strong understanding of the fast-paced nature of television production and have really enjoyed being part of a team working towards bringing a programme to life.
My experience has given me the opportunity to work across a variety of production tasks, from administrative and organisational work to research, talent support and general production assistance. I am confident working under pressure, managing multiple tasks at once and communicating with people across different areas of a production. I am also someone who is happy to get stuck in wherever needed and enjoys the variety that comes with working in production. Before moving into television, I worked as a Social Media Manager, managing several brands and creating content for their social channels.
This gave me valuable experience in communication, creativity, organisation and working to tight deadlines, all of which I have found to be highly transferable to television production. I have really enjoyed my time working in TV so far and have found that production is where I see myself developing my career. I am keen to continue learning, take on new challenges and gain experience across different productions and departments. While production is my main area of interest, I am also open to other opportunities within the industry where my skills and experience could be put to good use.
