With five years of experience in both the broadcast and commercial sectors, complemented by a degree from Australia’s premier film school, I am deeply passionate about creating content that resonates with audiences and shapes cultural narratives.
I most recently worked as a Development Researcher for the award-winning Factual unit at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the nation's largest commissioner of premium Factual and Documentary content. I played a key role in evaluating pitches and presenting viable projects to senior management, as well as providing research support to Commissioning Editors during project development. I also served as a member of the ABC’s inaugural Next Gen Panel, advising the Content division's Executive Leadership Team on the young audiences strategy.
My dynamic background includes over three years at Crybaby Productions, a female-owned creative content agency, where I served as a director, producer, video editor, and production assistant. In these positions, I made significant contributions to the ideation, production, and delivery of content for high profile clients across various industries, including technology, fashion, finance, beauty, lifestyle, and health—working with brands such as Microsoft, L'Oréal Australia, Atlassian, Frank Body, Ultra Violette, and many others.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), where I accumulated credits across numerous short films, documentaries, music videos, and web series. Through the AFTRS Graduate Program, I secured a coveted internship with the ABC, which has since evolved into my most recent role as a Development Researcher. Furthermore, I was honoured to be selected for the 2024 ElevateUs mentorship program, an initiative by Women In Film & TV Australia and Screen Australia's Gender Matters Taskforce.
In my spare time, I am dedicated to refining my craft and exploring new creative outlets. I find fulfilment in writing, producing, shooting, and editing, leveraging these skills as a freelance video editor and content creator for various brands.
