An all-rounder, who can both self-shoot to a high level and deal with a complex editorial, whilst keeping presenters and contributors well-informed and engaged. An exec recently, described Mike as, “visually strong” , “editorially sound” and “exceptionally good at working with onscreen talent”.His talent-handling skills were developed from working with a wide range of presenters, from The Hairy Bikers, Nick Knowles, Phil Spencer, Dick and Angel, to national treasures, Tim and Pru. He also forms strong bonds of trust with contributors, which in 2023 enabled him to win over the clergy and staff of Britain’s most prestigious Royal Church, to create the series Westminster Abbey: Behind Closed Doors (C5).Happy working within a team, he’s also confident and experienced enough to drive the narrative of a series and lead the production process.
