In short, I think that media can help us recognise the best parts of ourselves and our planet, and I am on a mission to bring such stories to life. Since graduating from my MSc in Environment, Politics and Development, I have found myself on numerous professional adventures.
I have been on the ground in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, presenting a COP27 update series for a climate think tank, I've been treated to stories about swimming pigs in the Bahamas whilst interviewing the High Commisioner on shoot, and I've put my environmental knowledge and research skills to good use on film topics ranging from regenerative agriculture to the wellbeing of small island nations as a Senior Researcher with the BAFTA award-winning Atomized Studios.
I also have a keen interest in literature, sports, history and theatre, and love exploring topics through a niche lens (ask me about my thesis examining the link between sleep deprivation and environmental destruction!). I love going on location, have worked in remote conditions and, having grown up working various customer service roles, I'm never afraid of a challenge - retail shifts at Christmas will prepare you a lot (!)
