After getting my degree in Film & Television Production at New York University, I gained experience as a production coordinator and creative project manager at a small start-up in NYC. As the head of the company's creative team, I was responsible for helping the creative director craft content concepts that befitted our company's overall goals. I was then in charge of ensuring all resources were acquired and properly distributed in order to bring the concept from script to (phone) screen. While the company as a whole fell into the industry of app development, my small but mighty team was a creative powerhouse consisting of artists dedicated to creating meaningful, high-quality content on a regular basis. Our focus was video content, but we also produced audio pieces as well as interactive written experiences.
During my time with this company, I also took on a few freelance jobs when my schedule as a full-time employee permitted. For these projects, I primarily acted as an assistant director prior to and during production. In January of 2023, I also took on a short contract role with a long-time collaborator of mine and acted as their assistant director, producer, and production manager.
I am now looking to focus in on building my skills and experience as a production coordinator. I moved from New York to London in August of 2024 and am very excited for this fresh start! Outside of work, I spend time with my three-legged Shih Tzu named Skipper, press and craft with fresh flowers, work on writing my passion (side) project — a paranormal graphic novel — and lose hours a day to doing puzzles and playing Zelda. I can't wait for my next collaboration!
