It's a pleasure to work with Mike. Songs of Praise is not quite like any other programme and it never stops - Mike came in and immediately hit the ground running. In a few months he'd covered every nation of the UK! Moreover, he made stand out episodes and really understood the heart of the programme. He also directed two excellent music performances. Each episode and feature was well shot and was very well received by commissioner and by viewers. Mike brings such a wealth of experience that he seems totally unflappable which was a great encouragement and support especially to more junior colleagues.
I Have worked with Mike for decades now and he recently worked with us on many of our series at Purple Productions. Mike is always someone we call when we are staffing any new series and so I can not recommend him highly enough.
