Hey, I’m Xavier! I’m an aspiring filmmaker with a big love for storytelling through short films and documentaries. At the moment, I’m studying film and media at Bournemouth Arts University. As I’m about to move into my final year of uni, I’d love to get ahead by getting some solid industry experience under my belt, either through placements or internships.

Here’s what I’ve learned so far:
* Premier pro
* Avid media composer
* Camera op work
* DaVinci resolve
* General knowledge of film studies and theory
Here’s what I’d love to learn:
* working on set and getting first hand experience
* Using new software
* Shadowing editors and learning what it’s like to work for a production team
* Editing longer productions as opposed to short films
* Communication skills with other team members and building up my confidence as a filmmaker

Here’s what inspires me:
* The Star Wars franchise has always been in my life, I was always fascinated by how they made the trilogy’s
* Editing and special effects were always an inspiration for my interest in film studies
* Collaborating with other filmmakers and creating our own projects
* Documentary is one of my favourite type of film making, some of my favourite documentaries are: grizzly man, leaving Neverland and Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends.
