I've worked in over 40 countries for broadcasters like Al Jazeera, Vice, ARD, ZDF, NOS, NRK, SVT, TVNZ and many others.These are a few recent projects I have produced, directed and/or filmed:The Sacrifice Zone (Al Jazeera English) - investigating the impacts of lead poisoning in Kabwe, Zambia, the world's most polluted town.The Accordion Wars (Al Jazeera English) - documenting how traditional accordion players from Lesotho, a tiny landlocked country in Southern Africa, have formed illegal mining gangs who ply their trade in South Africa's abandoned gold mines. Over the last twenty years they have morphed into one of the largest organised criminal groups in Southern Africa.Criminal Planet (Vice) - director of photography on a New Zealand episode of Criminal Planet, documenting the rise of the methamphetamine trade in the country.Other films include: The Price of Genocide (Al Jazeera English), West Africa's Opioid Crisis (Al Jazeera English), My Father Died for This (Al Jazeera English), After Christchurch (Al Jazeera Arabic), Corruption Inc. (Al Jazeera English), Kill All But the Crows, (Al Jazeera English).In New Zealand I've produced, directed and filmed numerous series including:K Rd Chronicles, Breaking Silence, No Place Like Home and TransGenerations.I've also worked extensively for international development aid organisations like the UN, World Bank, Fairtrade and International Idea.
