I am an experienced and multi-award winning programme-maker.
 
First seen in February 2024, “Catching a Killer: The Murder of Emma Caldwell”,a BBC documentary which I produced and directed is currently among the most viewed on BBC iPlayer. The programme is the culmination of a ten-year effort to uncover what went wrong in a police investigation which led to innocent men being accused of murder while the real killer, a known rapist, was allowed to go free and harm other women for the next 19 years.

In 2023 I was the Series Producer of "Obscene: The Dublin Murders" a major true crime podcast series now airing on BBC Studios which won Gold at the New York Radio Festivals.  I also Produced an episode of the A&E series
'Secrets of the Hells Angels' for Arrow Productions.

An earlier iteration of the Emma Caldwell story, "Who Killed Emma?" which I produced and directed for the BBC won in 2020 and 2021 at the RTS, BAFTAs and the British Journalism Awards, and led directly to a new suspect being charged with an unsolved murder. 

In earlier work as an Executive Producer or Producer/Director for major broadcasters in Britain and overseas I have been awarded a DuPont Gold Baton for an investigation into Islamist extremism while working with the New York Times, where I also received multiple Emmy nominations. I've won a Gold Medal at the New York Film Festival and Best in Current Affairs at the Asian Television Awards for an investigation into North Korean slave workers, and a profile of President Marcos of the Philippines. 

I have a great deal of experience as an Exec, Series Producer, P/D and Edit Producer, managing teams and working under considerable pressure on high-profile and sometimes high-risk projects. I retain a real hunger for the essence of great television, the finding and telling of stories. Read Less
