This was the culmination of a ten year effort to expose a botched police investigation which let a murderer and rapist go free, and won at the BAFTAs and the Royal Television Society Awards in 2025.
Tim Davie, Director General of the BBC has called the programme “A masterclass of investigative journalism…(and) an outstanding example of public service journalism at its best.” The Scottish Government has now ordered a Public Inquiry into the Emma Caldwell affair
I was the Series Producer of "Obscene: The Dublin Murders" a podcast series now airing on BBC Studios which won Gold at the New York Radio Festivals.
An earlier iteration of the Emma Caldwell story, "Who Killed Emma?" which I produced and directed for the BBC, won at the RTS, BAFTAs and British Journalism Awards, and led directly to a new suspect being charged with an unsolved murder.
In other work as an Executive Producer or Producer/Director for major broadcasters in Britain and overseas I have been awarded a DuPont Gold Baton for an investigation with the New York Times into Islamist extremism. I have also received multiple Emmy nominations for other work with the New York Times.
I've won Gold Medals at the New York Film Festival and Best in Current Affairs at the Asian Television Awards for two documentaries made for Channel News Asia: an investigation into North Korean slave workers and a profile of President Marcos of the Philippines.

I have a great deal of experience as an Exec, Series Producer, P/D and Edit Producer, managing teams and working under considerable pressure on high-profile and sometimes high-risk projects. I retain a real hunger for the essence of great television, the finding and telling of stories.
