Read MoreI am a passionate and hard working Production Manager who has worked within the Media Industry since 2014. During that time I was based mainly in Manchester working for the BBC starting in BBC Children's, with stints in BBC events, before moving to BBC Sport.
I started my career within editorial working as a runner on BBC Children's productions, before then turning to production management and that's where I found my strength, passion and love. I began as a Production Management Assitant within BBC Children's and then moved to be a Production Coordinator, working on children's live action, development, animation and online. In 2019 I moved to coordinate in BBC Sport with the iplayer and live streaming teams. Due to COVID there was a brief move back to Children's before I returned to BBC Sport in 2021 where I stayed as Production Coordinator until September 2024.
During my time I sport I was lucky enough to work on the BBC coverage of the Six Nations, Rugby League Challenge Cup, Wimbledon, Rugby League World Cup, European Athletics Championships, World Athletics Championships, London Marathon, Sports Personality of the Year and teo Olympics.
I am profficent in all BBC finance systems and can raise every type of payment. I am competent with budgeting, engaging freelancers. Competent using scheduling systems for staff and facilities like studios and edits. Confident with archive and music cleareance and completing programme paperwork on Silvermouse. I am also confident using Albert for green production certification,
In September 2024 I moved back to Wales, where I started a role as Production Manager working with Tinopolis Cymru in Llanelli on their Welsh langue day time time and light entertainment titles 'Prynhawn Da' and 'Heno' as well as political programme 'Pawb a'i Farn'. In this role I was responsible for large scale budgets, scheduling staff and edits, ensuring productions were broadcast compliant and handled any issues that may affect the programme.
In June 2025 I returned to the BBC a Business Advisor working with BBC Wales News teams. I am enjoying the challenge of using my production and finance skills to ensure the department's efficent use of money and resource meets with the BBC's needs and requirements.
