Hey everyone!
My name’s Alona Kaporina and I’m director from Ukraine. Currently I live in Manchester, UK.
My career includes creating documentary, short films, commercials, social videos, Behind the Scenes films, reels and YouTube projects.
My documentary "The Rising Sun," was awarded the Best Documentary Film at the Manchester Film Festival 2024. My experience also includes working with the CHIEF production company in Manchester as a BTS filmmaker.

Just before the war, I completed the first draft of the script for my debut feature film. The war in Ukraine changed everything. But I have not given up hope of making great feature films!
