I am an author and a teacher who is looking to make the transition into working full time in the TV and Film Industry.

I was longlisted for the BBC Writersroom's Alfred Bradley Bursary Award in 2021 and I attended the BFI x Film Hub North Script Lab in York in 2022.

I am currently working on two short films (one of which was shortlisted for BFI funding last year) and I am awaiting funding decisions.

I have years of experience working in administration (outside of the Film and TV Industry) and education and have acquired the transferable skills to make me an assest to any job.

The reality is I am from a working-class Northern background (I was born and raised in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire) so I have to work while I try and make my scriptwriting aspirations become a reality and because of my experience of working in other fields I am confident I can be a valuable member of any project as an assistant or an entry level role.
