I feel as though I am now in the right place professionally to be able to support a wider team and facilitate the smooth functioning of a company, whilst helping to identify standout creatives and projects that align well with the contemporary zeitgeist.
I am self-motivated but also work well within a team, and strive to maintain efficiency within the workplace. I am personable and approachable, whilst maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times. I handle administrative tasks with ease and thrive in a busy environment, and I have great interpersonal skills as well as a wide knowledge of both emerging and established people within the industry in the UK and US.
Although my experience as an Executive/Personal Assistant has, at times, gone beyond the creative sectors, I have held a lifelong dedication to the film and television industry and it is ultimately my goal to continue to progress within its world. I was named a BAFTA - Los Angeles Newcomer in 2012 and have continued to grow a nurturing, inspiring community within BAFTA and the industry in both the UK and US. I was a member of the BAFTA - LA Education and Outreach committee, and the BAFTA - LA events committee, and served as a judge on the panel of the BAFTA - LA Student Film Awards for three consecutive years. During this time, I watched over 50 short films per year and helped to identify emerging talent and stories that would hopefully resonate with a wider audience, irrespective of whether they aligned with my personal taste.
