Hi there! My name is Ed and I'm a freelance feature writer and academic researcher looking for more work in development and production, and particularly factual media and documentaries.

I've written on a breadth of topics from history, philosophy, psychology and culture for outlets like the BBC, The Financial Times, The Guardian and others. I have conducted research on the risks of psychedelic drugs, in particular that of Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder. 

I cut my teeth as a researcher and content writer at the YouTube channel Rebel Wisdom, which eventually achieved nearly 250,000 subscribers, before moving to Novel, where I helped develop, pitch and write up a range of longform and narrative podcast proposals for the BBC, Gimlet, Audible and others.
