With over ten years of experience in broadcast and feature documentaries, as well as branded content, I am a versatile Director and Director of Photography dedicated to the craft of storytelling.

I prioritize the narrative in all my work, collaborating closely with contributors to create films that are meaningful and impactful. Throughout my career, I have transitioned from cinematography to directing, utilizing my background in cinematography to develop films with a distinctive visual identity. Starting out making adventerous films telling stories of BASE jumpers or Climbers in the mountains I learnt how to shoot and direct in remote and high pressure enviroments. I then started to also work within the branded world (Land Rover, VW, Moet Hennessy) this taught me to shoot to a very high quality, using cinema quality cameras, lenses and lighting. More recently, I have been working in factural TV and features, such as "A Killing In Tiger Bay" - BBC2,  "Blood Sweat and Cheer" - BBC Three, Nominated for BAFTA and Grierson awards and "Wild Isles" - New Yonder. I am currently in the process of directing my first indie feature length documentary about a pod of Killer Whales based in the UK. 

I excel both as a team player and as an independent worker, capable of spanning all aspects of production, from shooting to producing and directing. Driven by my passion for the natural world, I recently established Fathom Films, a production company committed to telling stories that contribute to the betterment of the environment and the creatures that live within it.
