David Gösta Dawson is a documentary filmmaker, editor and researcher based in London and NYC. Having studied Photography at University of the Arts London, he went on to co-direct EYESORE magazine, an arts magazine and cultural programmer showcasing experiential bottom-up perspectives on urban space.

In 2022 he released KOLEKTIV, a documentary exploring artists in Belgrade, Serbia as they carve out spaces to create and commune, which has been screened internationally. Besides this he worked on live music films, advertising and music videos.

Now based between London and NYC he works as a freelance video editor and colourist whilst directing personal documentary films. He is able to provide both technical ability and an understanding of complex issues and narratives. Read Less
