Before moving to the UK, Noah worked as a journalist in Syria for four years during the civil war, documenting stories that were often untold. Since settling in Wales, he has immersed himself in filmmaking, earning a distinction in the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at the Creative Arts Academy in Cardiff (2024) and completing a documentary filmmaking course at Media Academy Cymru (2023).
His ability to adapt and integrate into new environments is reflected in his work—having learnt English in just two years, he now collaborates widely across Wales’ creative industries. As a freelance filmmaker, he has worked with organizations such as BBC Studios, Ffilm Cymru Wales, and Aberystwyth Arts Centre, producing films that challenge perceptions and amplify marginalised voices.
In 2023, Noah was awarded the Contribution to the Arts Award at the Nation of Sanctuary Awards, recognising his artistic impact and dedication to cultural storytelling. His films blend documentary, experimental, and visual art elements, always pushing the boundaries of traditional narratives to engage audiences in meaningful dialogue.
