Hello there, my name is Charles Manning (artist name Charlaaye). I'm a 20 year old British filmmaker who is currently studying for a BA in film and television at the University of Reading. I have created 30+ film related projects, I produce filmmaking content on social media. I also have experience as a runner on film and tv sets.

Ever since I was a child, I have been writing, directing, acting in and editing all my own films. I have created over 30 films and video projects, all varying in length (ranging from 1min to 1h). In genre (action, horror, comedy, romance). In style (short films, documentaries, music videos, promotional videos). All of which I consider to have contributed to my filmmaking skills and all of which are available on my Youtube channel (link down belong).

I have recently finished the 2 year production on my most ambitious project yet, entitled “Roxanne”. This hour long French film, featuring a large cast and crew and filmed with multiple high end cameras and lights. Was written, directed, edited and filmed by me, entirely at my family home, back in France (the country in which I have lived in for the past 10 years). Roxanne tells the story of a house party gone wrong. As our main character (a nerd with a fake bad boy persona) tries to seduce a very popular and rich girl named Roxanne. Without knowing that Roxanne's psychopathic ex-boyfriend is back and shows up to the party for revenge against what she did to him.
