My practice blends creative production with a strong grounding in cultural research. I hold a Master’s in Visual Anthropology, where I specialised in observational documentary and the power of everyday stories to explore identity, place, and belonging.
A personal project of mine, West For All, followed the vibrant, politically-engaged community around a grassroots football club in South Manchester. The project deepened my commitment to telling local stories with care, humour, and authenticity centring real human experience.
I’m currently working as the production assistant on an independent documentary filmed in January 2025 about the Koli fisherpeople, an Indigenous community in Mumbai. This ongoing project explores tradition, environmental change, and urban expansion through the lens of daily life and livelihood. It’s currently in post-production.
I’m keen to get involved in creative projects that tell thought provoking, grounded stories whether in documentary, factual, or scripted formats. I’ve worked across research, production coordination, and community engagement, and I’m always looking to learn more and be part of a team. I’m especially drawn to socially engaged storytelling and excited to connect with others in the industry who share that focus.
