I am a Lancashire-born documentary maker who has completed my final year of study achieving a BA (Hons) in Filmmaking at the University of Lancashire, specialising in documentary production. With a strong passion for real stories and the art of experimenting, I believe the more innovative the better when it comes to style; I see any topic as a story if it is just given the chance to be heard. Enjoying the challenge of developing a simple narrative to become extraordinary through the use of a fast-thinking, creative mindset, I see documentary making as a way to help the 'ordinary' feel heard, giving voices that are typically seen as a number over a being express themselves for who they are and their own personal lives, no matter how simple they may seem from an outside perspective.
