Sam Coffey is a British-Irish film editor, specialising in documentaries. Most recently, he edited two-part docuseries The Guilty Innocent with Christopher Eccleston, which broadcast on Sky History in May 2024 and an observational documentary for Al Jazeera, due for release later this year. He has also edited two feature-length documentaries - the second, The People's Way, was a 2023 Sundance Story and Edit Lab finalist and is in post-production. His first short, Centred (2022), that he also directed, won Best Documentary at the British Short Film Awards. His second short, A Story Left Behind, funded by BFI Doc Society, is in production.
