Whilst at university, I was a founding memeber of the new University fo Glasgow Filmmaking Society. Having had a significant role in four short films as a producer, I have experience in project development, budgeting, scheduling, problem solving and editing. I take pride in effective communication and organisation so that creative minds have the strongest foundation possible to execute a shared vision.

However, I have much to learn and am keen to collaborate with other filmmakers and other industry professionals with more experience. I have just finished my degree in film and Television studies at the Unversity of Glasgow and I intend to say in the city after graduation hoping to one day build my own netowrk of creative people and likeminded filmmakershere in Glasgow. While I am fortunate enough to be from London, having lived in Glasgow for four years, I understand the growing desire to move away from London-centric production and I would like to cultivate the film and television industry elsewhere.

I have just completed my dissertation that focussed on the factual/documentary work of Derren Brown with Channel 4. Paying close attention to his stage show specials, I unpack the various ways both he and the mediums of television and theatre manipulate viewers in order to both entertain and educate them. I believe his work represents the pinacle of television entertainemnt and am keen to work on any project that blurs mediums together. Read Less
