Hailing from Birmingham, Sarah is an award-winning producer with experience ranging across short films, TV drama, commercials, branded content, music videos and live events.

Sarah began her career in TV drama, assisting the Managing Directors and Head of Production at Company Pictures before working in the production office on the BAFTA award winning cult TV show Skins. She then went on to work in commercials and branded content for production company tantrum, working her way up from production assistant to production manager to producer.

More recently, Sarah has worked as a freelance producer for production companies including Caviar, Stink, Sweetshop and Friend, producing projects for brands such as Amazon, Ikea, McDonald’s and VW, and broadcasters including Channel 4, ITV, BBC, and Sky.

Sarah’s narrative slate includes GIRLS WHO DRINK, written and directed by Lily Rose Thomas. GIRLS WHO DRINK was screened at a number of festivals worldwide including BAFTA qualifying Leeds International Film Festival, LSFF and Underwire Film Festival, where she was nominated in the Best Producer category.

Sarah has two short films which have just completed post production and are entering the 2024 festival circuit. THAT NIGHT is written by Chloe Myerson (BBC Studios Writers Academy), and directed by Emma Miranda Moore, starring Jamie Flatters and Ebenezer Gyau. CALICO is co-written and produced by Sarah, directed by Jake Mavity for Rogue Films and stars Jamali Maddix, Jennifer Preston and Alec Nichols and debut actor Malaysia Newland. 

Sarah is currently on the Women In Film and Television Mentorship sceme and is one of Pitch Magazine’s 100 Superpeople championing those working behind the scenes in the creative industries. Read Less
