As a Science Communication Master's student at the University of the West of England, I am gaining valuable skills in various areas of science communication. From developing skills in science journalism and radio/podcasting to skills in becoming part of a team creating science-based television.

I'm passionate about the natural world, and specialised my BSc Biological Sciences in Marine Biology, Ecology and Environmental Change. I aim to encourage positive environmental action and pro-climate behaviour in the communication I undertake.

Alongside running my own blog, Environmental Optimism, for which I research, write, edit and publish articles, I am a recurrent host on Bristol Communtiy FM's Love and Science show - a show that provides science news in an engaging way to our listeners. Read Less
