I am a freelance show caller and stage manager with experience in Vmix & powerpoint working in live, remote and hybrid events.

My previous related careers include being a television presenter, producer and events coordinator with an international career spanning 20 years. During that time, I’ve gathered a range of industry specific and attendant transferrable skills and experience while distinguishing myself as a keen news hound and detail- oriented production coordinator.

While I am good at being the client-facing string that pulls each technical aspect together, my experience as a radio and television presenter and producer in my native Barbados as well as for the BBC World Service gives me an appreciation for the individual considerations of each crew member.

I’ve been a news presenter for a regional news simulcast and the host of a live breakfast television show. This means I’m experienced in and comfortable with live open talkback, live interviews, scripted and unscripted presentations and autocue.

With a wealth of experience in production specific and related industries, I have an eye for detail and an appreciation of how each component of a live show comes together.  But I am always learning and open to broadening my skillset.  I'm not afraid to get stuck into a less glamorous role if it means I can understand better what is being asked of my crew or if I can learn something from it.
