Emmy and RTS- nominated Series Producer, Edit Producer and Senior Development Producer working across documentary, current affairs and specialist factual. 

I have extensive experience creating and managing teams of APs/Researchers/Edit Producers, running multiple edits and edit producing, scripting, contributor on-camera interviews, high level institutional access negotiations, setting up and producing shoots, sourcing and licensing archive, and thorough research. I can self-shoot on the Sony FS7, and Canon Xf305 and C300. I am also skilled at sensitively casting and filming with often hard to access contributors.

I specialise in documentaries that tell difficult and inspiring stories with genuine warmth, covering complex subject areas including working poverty, mental health, sex, sexuality and crime. I am particularly skilled at interviewing and bringing out the best in contributors, having interviewed people ranging from high level political figures, to severely neurodivergent young people, to families of drag queens. My background generally lies in personal testimony driven and contemporary history films, though I have also worked in observational documentaries and fact ent. I also have a journalistic background, and spent two years VT and edit producing for flagship BBC current affairs programme Newsnight.

In terms of development, I have taken ideas from conception through to securing development funding and commissions for multiple UK terrestrial channels and streamers. I have also worked on funded developments for the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Discovery, Sky and France 2. I have recently been working in a senior role in the development team of a newly launched factual production label, Candle True Stories.

I was trained up by the BBC through their prestigious Production Trainee Scheme, which ran from Oct 2013 - Oct 2014. I also worked as a Broadcast Journalist, working across BBC flagship news programmes. Read Less
