I have Produced and Directed award-winning series across a range of genres, from high-end specialist factual and adventure travel to fact ent and ob doc. I have extensive experience directing highly complex and challenging shoots in remote locations around the world, including directing large, multi-camera crews and A-list talent. Many of my roles have involved shaping the series from the early stages of production, working with my team to craft the series style, format, and content. While my specialism is high-end specialist factual, my experience of fact ent and adventure travel storytelling allows me to create programmes that are as entertaining as they are enlightening and beautiful to watch. And I have a proven track record of leading large, happy teams to deliver excellent programmes, no matter the size of the challenges or the scale of the ambition.

I have Produced and Directed large and small projects, from technically ambitious natural history shoots and multi-unit presenter-led sequences, to intimate snapshots of foreign cultures and the inner workings of the human body. I'm also a highly experienced self-shooter, having shot across eight series, and various genres including adventure travel, ob doc and fact ent. I am as happy covering entire sequences on my own as I am directing large crews. I have spent most of my time operating the FS7 and C300, but also have experience on the PMW-300, A7s/r, XF305 and PXW-Z100.

My experience of both blue-chip cinematography and single camera observational documentary has allowed me to blend filming styles that push the boundaries of established genres. I am passionate about telling surprising, rich stories, and enjoy the opportunity to adapt a script to the action that unfolds on the ground. I love turning fascinating facts and complex science into accessible, awe-inspiring television that's as entertaining as it is enlightening. I am happiest when working in extreme or remote environments, especially on programmes that have an expedition or adventure element.

Currently based in my home country - the Cayman Islands - but frequently returning to the UK for work and still shooting wherever required. Read Less
