The most impactful storytelling medium is cinema. Directors are able to capture and hold the attention of spectators. It makes us laugh and cry, and it defines who we are as human beings. Directing films is my ideal career. I consider myself to be organised, focused, and determined by that. I believe that education will greatly assist me in fulfilling my objective of becoming a director, as it will enhance my confidence, develop new abilities, and provide me with the tools I need to make my own films in order to accomplish my desired outcomes. My goal is to gain the expertise, understanding, and creative aptitude necessary to make my own films and other media that are morally and consistently reflective of my values of a diverse society and stewardship and from crafting original ideas to following every step of the process, including concept filming, script writing, and editing the final product, as a means to inspire others and allow them to express themselves creatively, I want to do the same.I initially had little interest in film; however, I started to discuss the industry in more detail after attending a workshop with a Tiger Aspects film director five months into my Sixth Form course. I grew more confident and approachable towards the industry. This provided me with the opportunity to pursue a career in the film industry. This gave me the chance to work in the film industry and encouraged me to set up cameras for the interviews I also participated in for Tiger Aspects creative youth consultation. My confidence in the principles of film was strengthened when I was invited to collaborate with the director on a feature film following the workshop. This film featured real-life situations with high expectations and conquering challenges in order to convey a message to a younger audience. An inspiring message motivated me to make my own in the future and inspire others, like I have been. I oversaw the screenplay, sound, scene direction, and audio while maintaining order, which called for self-reliance, inventiveness, and problem-solving skills. Ultimately, the film was screened as part of a County Lines project at the Worcester Cathedral.I felt more certain and much more interested in being able to design my own project as a result of this. Several days later, I was invited to help out at a Solihull CEP event at the Core Theatre. I accepted to collaborate with them on additional events after making an impression on the company's founder. I took some time in the studio to become proficient with a variety of camera equipment. During this, I contributed to the Birmingham Kings Coronation Event, producing event and advertisement videos using two industry-standard cameras and collaborating with a team of people. I then worked with an amazing team to create advertisements, footage, and event promotion for the Birmingham Pride Event 2023 studio. Over three days, I worked on various tasks, including filming, interviewing people, and following parades around the city.I maintain a healthy lifestyle and am passionate about music and film. Over the course of ten years, playing the violin has allowed me to express my creativity and understand the realm of music in films. I volunteered in Nepal, teaching children essential skills through STEM-based workshops and enhancing their and my own interpersonal and teamwork abilities. I am dedicated to achieving my goals and going above and beyond to see my ambitions fulfilled. Through my journey in film so far, I have been able to learn various aspects of storytelling, cinematography, and production techniques. These skills have equipped me with the necessary foundation to bring my creative vision to life and make a meaningful impact in the industry.
