I began my career in the tech industry, but I was always drawn to people rather than products. Wanting to work in a more human-focused environment, I made the move into film and television, where I quickly found my place in contributor welfare and duty of care.
Working in factual television, I’ve supported contributors through intense, emotionally sensitive and high-pressure experiences, and I take real pride in being someone people can trust. My experience includes welfare planning, safeguarding processes, coordinating bios and psych checks, preparing clear and thorough house notes, and acting as a consistent point of contact between contributors and production teams.
Through hands-on experience and a strong commitment to ethical storytelling, I’ve progressed into the role of Assistant Welfare Producer. I care deeply about creating safe, supportive environments where contributors feel heard and respected, and where welfare is embedded into every stage of production.
