Loucaros (“Luke”) Eleftheriou is a semiologist who paints with words. His unique, hybrid voice was forged during his postgraduate tenure at The University of Cape Town in South Africa, where he majored in French Language and Literature, Science of Religion and Drama. His passionate exploration of the human condition and indefatigable interest in articulating the unfolding chiaroscuro at its core, was furthermore examined in his extensive linguistic studies of semantics and semiotics. His discovery of semiology sparked his expertise, infusing his writing, concept and narrative design with a gripping dimensionality, exploring and giving all which lies hidden and cradled within subtext, an arresting voice – the consummate platform galvanizing his collective skills and knowledge in fine art, psychology, linguistics and visual storytelling.
