I am an editor and filmmaker and have been producing, directing, shooting, and editing various trailers, promos and other video projects for clients including BBC, C4, ITV, Arrow Films, Lionsgate, BFI, Warner Bros Television, Tinopolis, Sothebys, The Royal Academy, V&A, MS Society, ActionAid and many more.
I have collaborated with artists, musicians, NGOs, and cultural organisations to tell stories that are engaging, inspiring, and impactful. Some of my films include Minute Bodies with UK band Tindersticks, Y/our Music, which won Best International Feature at Muvi Lisboa, and Passing Through, an experimental 360 documentary. I am passionate about exploring possibilities and change in how we live our lives through the power of visual media.
Where the Leaves Fall, which I edited, ran for 16 issues from 2019 to 2024. The magazine considered local and global experiences and knowledge as a pathway to healing our relationship with nature, with culture, with community and with our home, the Earth. It offered a critique of the prevailing narratives that shape our lives: challenging oppressive systems, revitalising cultural narratives, unveiling obscured histories, embracing paradigm shifts, while fostering transformation, imaginative realities, community solidarity, collective liberation and affection. We hope this magazine envisioned alternative paths, emphasising interconnectedness, recognising the wisdom of marginalised communities and advocating for transformative actions and expansive solutions rooted in cultural, social and environmental
consciousness.
I see being a disrupter as a positive - it's not about causing chaos and problematic issues, more about opening us up to different ideas, ways of being, thinking, approaches, learnings and chipping away at the limitations that bind us. We are brought up within a framework and sometimes it's just about being exposed to a different framework, and understanding that both can coexist. The pluriverse is out there.
On a local level I also co-edit Village Raw - a community culture magazine that captures the creative essence of a hyperlocal north London area.
