As far back as I can remember, I have always been passionate about film. I came here from Spain to study Film and TV production at the University of Hertfordshire, where I recently graduated, and work in the film industry, which I always wanted to be a part of. As I delved deeper into filmmaking, I began to understand how films were made and how important were the different departments involved. After taking part in different productions, I started to love the adrenaline of being on set and, while in post-production, editing became my passion.

I am a very curious person with very varied interests and concerns. Always eager to learn more things and expand my skill set in order to improve as a person. This is not limited to film and its technical, creative and historical aspects. I also like learning new languages, like English and French thus expanding my communicative skills, and I enjoy playing sports such as football, water polo or pádel enhancing my resilience and team-work abilities. These different activities have made me understand and appreciate the relevance of both the theoretical and the practical features of a craft. I have brought this with me when approaching editing by having both a profound comprehension of what makes a good piece of visual storytelling and the necessary technical skills to materialise ideas.

Through the different experiences and film projects I have been involved in I have honed my ability to collaborate effectively within a team, adhere to tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving project requirements. As well as becoming a well-organised, proactive, reliable worker and always attentive to detail. The devotion I feel for the craft fuels my motivation and commitment to do my best regardless of external factors. Even in challenging scenarios, I am able to foster perseverance and work seamlessly to overcome obstacles with a positive attitude and collaborative spirit. Ultimately, aiming to inspire trust and build a sense of professionalism within the team.

I am motivated by the possibility of being able to take part in the creation of films, which have the capability of making a meaningful impact on society as they had on me. Read Less
