Passionately Pursuing a Career in Filmmaking and Storytelling

Driven by an insatiable desire to learn, develop, and contribute to the filmmaking community, I aspire to gain hands-on experience in production and runner roles while simultaneously honing my creative writing skills. My diverse background in event promotion, bartending, and teaching has instilled in me a strong work ethic, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced environments.

Nurturing Creativity and Storytelling

Beyond my professional endeavours, I am an avid creative writer and filmmaker, driven by an innate passion for storytelling. I have established a social media platform (@sentencesbyjobe) to showcase my short stories, script excerpts, poetry, and prose, in order to put my work out there and receive feedback. My passion for filmmaking has led me to begin actively teaching myself filmmaking techniques, culminating in the production of three short films whilst travelling over the past year. My commitment to filmmaking further intensified during my participation in a short course at Central St. Martins, "Film School in a Week," where I created a short film and further solidified my love of storytelling, cinematography, and editing.
