Read MoreI hold an excellent track record of producing bold talent, shepherding risky contributors and delivering amazing development case studies though detailed casting campaigns using the latest technologies and techniques individually tailored to each project’s needs.I've been an unscripted Executive Casting Producer since 2014, and spent half a decade as Head of Casting at October Films (New York & London offices); working across docs, fact-ent, reality, dramality, features and specialist factual for both the U.K and U.S.A markets. I have cast across 40+ countries for all manner of briefs. My role is typically varied and includes casting, forward planning, directing, story producing, edit producing, hiring and managing teams both small & large. Anywhere from 3 to 60 people in scope across multiple productions simultaneously to ensure we were delivering quality programming across all unscripted genres, in a cost-effective way. I implemented casting & delivery strategies during each production phase including concept/development stages, live filming cycle and post-campaign deliverables, liaising with talent pre-shoots and post-delivery for press and pick-ups.Depending on the brief; I use a mixture of social media, street casting, direct contact and mass outreach where obvious legitimate interests may apply. I implement IT systems for secure and more accessible completed application forms. Making phone chats quicker, producing top sheets far easier. Centralised management for screening, selection and casting. I produce excellent casting tapes, intercut with UGC and/or recce footage. Depending on the needs of the production; collating and securely storing information concerning individual checks to ensure all contributors are legally allowed to work within the territory, DBS Criminal Record Checks or U.S.A local and Federal Criminal Record Checks, Passport photo ID and Work permit, biometric residence permit or residence card and so on. The data can then be used by production for pre-production, location planning, logistics, episode planning, music rights clearance, budgeting, candidate performance tracking, and more. All of which are fully compliant with GDPR, the Federal Trade Commission’s privacy policies and Equality Act of 2010. I work closely with Production Psychologists and cast members for psychological assessments and support during pre-production, production and after transmissions. I coordinate and liaise with Medical Officers for full medical checks, vaccinations, and cast insurance.
