While at the Hot Docs, I helped organize events for a series spotlighting Ukrainian war filmmakers, and reported on the successes of a program designed to engage high schoolers with documentaries related to their in-school education.
I was also a participant in a career accelerator program at the Hot Docs Podcast festival, where I got the chance to get feedback on my (now defunct☹) podcast, Think Local T.O. This was an amazing opportunity to learn from some of the best in Canadian podcasting.
Some of my other past experience includes working in Player Development at the Ontario Tennis Association. For over 100 years, the OTA and its Player Development department have been hosting youth and adult tennis tournaments across Ontario. As an intern, I helped plan tournaments and worked on-site at the provinces largest tournament, the Bloomex Cup.
I also worked at Ghost Bureau, a small Toronto-based agency specializing in content marketing and ghostwriting. I worked as a production assistant on several Ghost Bureau shoots, helping to produce informative live videos, and podcasting content. Like the name suggests, I also helped to ghost-write online articles about health and fitness.
