I am an energetic and creative professional with good communications skills seeking to develop a career in the video/film/TV  production industry. I have an MA in Documentary Filmmaking (distinction) from the University of Arts, London and a BA (Hons) in Anthropology from the University of Bristol, so combining both creative and research capabilities. My work on the MA course was praised for being both creative and sensitive and my final film is being used by the university to introduce new students to the course.

Since graduating, I have worked on a number of projects in a freelance capacity. I have acted as producer for a series of training films shot in Dubai for a technology company, most of which I also edited and formatted for social media. I have acted as production assistant( and second camera) on the production of two PR films promoting parenting products and also formatted for social media. I was also approached by UAL to direct a health and safety film for a national rail company which was logistically challenging given deadlines, budget and locations. I have largely edited all my own work and am very passionate about the whole post-production process and what it can bring to a project....its where the magic happens.
I have also done a considerable amount of research for nearly all the projects I have been involved, sourcing equipment, locations, participants and props but its also an aspect of the process I enjoy.

At this stage in my career, I feel I am probably best suited to production assistant roles, especially where a creative editing capability is seen as an additional benefit. I have also recently completed a course in After Effects to enhance these editing skills.

I would always welcome a conversation about how I could fit within an organisation and would also consider learning opportunities if I could make those work financially.
