British LGBTQ+ writer and exhausted father to an adopted five-year-old menace. Former Journalist (The Sun, London Voice). 18+ years experience of media monitoring and crafting press briefings for clients including BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and the actual King Charles III. Working as a Production Manager within the industry, I led a team of seven Team Leaders and 50+ Editors. I was shortlisted for last year's BBC Open Call and BBC Voices writing scheme and named a FINALIST in the Screenwriter's Network TV Pilot Competition for two consecutive years. I recently had my work on parenthood and depression performed at Arcola Theatre, London. But another theatre declared it to be "offensive and disturbing" and refused to stage it! (Who wants to write something beige anyway?) I reached the Top 4% in WeScreenplay's Diverse Voices Lab, the final cut for the 2021 Oxford Playhouse Playmaker Scheme and was Semi-Finalist in the Emerging Screenwriters Comedy Screenplay Competition (2022).
