I’m a skilled story teller and writer; a BAFTA Scotland-winning, editorially minded producer adept at taking fresh, not-fully-fleshed, commissions and making them viable and journalistically strong in production. My experience is broad across genres: feature documentary, specialist factual, popular factual, arts, current affairs and travelogue. My strong interview skills blend respect, knowledge and curiosity to enable me to find and capture a story that others may miss.

I have extensive international experience, having overseen shoots in over 30 countries, working on location in many of them. I edit produce, script and direct (including directing talent) and I enjoy regular stints in development between productions, with a proven record of commissions. My most recent green light was for a premium feature doc which I originated and developed for RW Productions and Two Rivers, now in production with international distribution and funders including the BFI and Sky Docs.
