Hey, I'm Stéphane

I'm currently based in London, I hold a valid driving license and am open to both freelance and full-time opportunities. I'm looking for Juniors to mid-level positions in Development, Production, Sales or Distribution. I have a commercial and a creative background.

After more than 8 years working in the tech industry as a Business Consultant & Project Manager, I transitioned into the film industry following the completion of a practical MA in Film Production in 2022

My professional journey in tech has equipped me with versatile transferable skills, making me well-suited for the open position. My roles have spanned across departments such as Sales, Operations, Administration, and Customer Support where I have held positions as Head of Department and Project Coordinator. I have the experience to manage diverse responsibilities, to multitask and to work under pressure.

My practical MA in Film Production has further enriched my skill set.  I have learned the fundamentals of each step of film production. I’ve learned to collaborate effectively with writers, I’ve had to manage the admin side with tasks such as generating all the production paperwork (Invoice purchase Orders, Call Sheets, Unit Lists, casting briefs, contracts, and risk assessments) handling the logistics (diary management, travel booking, accommodation) liaising and negotiating with external partners (kit and location) and coordinating with our HoDs (budget and scheduling) to ensure a seamless production process.

Throughout my career, I have thrived in fast-paced environments. As an addition to your team, you will have someone proactive, organised, and comfortable working autonomously. I am curious and a fast learner and also bilingual with French being my mother tongue.

Over the next six months, I am fortunate to be under the guidance of two mentorship programs, Momentum (We Are Parable x Channel 4 x Sony) and Our Stories Festival.

I have always found joy in building projects from scratch, and my long-term aspiration is to develop and produce films. Drawing inspiration from my experiences in six countries and my Belgo-Burundian heritage, I want to create emotional and entertaining stories with global resonance.
