Danielle is a working-class, queer woman, of British, Jamaican and Algerian heritage. Her work focuses on championing under- represented voices and filmmakers whose work centres on BIPOC, working-class and queer stories.
Danielle's work includes Night of the Living Dread, which was nominated for a BIFA and BAFTA award and won an Annie and RTS Award. The "Unearthed Narratives" Short film slate of five films produced and distributed with Sky Drama, TEASE a Grierson award winning short documentary featured on Channel 4. Danielle produced Dragged Up and NIGHTS, both written and directed by Laura Jayne Tunbridge. NIGHTS was commissioned by Disney and premiered at BFI London Film Festival 2023.
Danielle is part of the BFI Insight Emerging Producers programme 2023 and was selected for the Disney Imagine shorts incubator scheme 2023. She was previously selected for the BFI LFF & EIFF Talent Labs 2022.
Danielle is one of Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow 2023. She is developing a slate of feature film and television projects and is represented by Independent Talent.
