Sakis Lalas
is a documentary director, DOP, photographer, producer and the co-founder of The Dark Candy productions.
He produces and shoot EPK, MAKING-OF, BEHIND-THE-SCENES documentary content and interviews with cast and crew for Movie/Tv projects.

In his long career as an editorial photographer in Milan, he portrayed some of the most big names of the fashion industry, such as Giorgio Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Silvia Fendi, Angela Missoni, Kean Etro, Luciano Benetton, Tommy Hilfiger. His photos have been published in many Top international magazines like WWD (Women’s Wear Daily) and The New York Times in USA; Style (Corriere della Sera’s Magazine), Cosmopolitan in Italy; The Sunday Times, Harper’s Bazaar in UK and Handelsblatt in Germany.

He was a jury member of 2021 Globo D’Oro Documentary Award, the Italian Foreign Press Association Golden Globes. He is also a member of the Greek Documentary Association.

Sakis directed and produced ”Anthea Sylbert, My Life in 3 Acts”, a documentary featuring Oscar-winning actress Goldie Hawn and Oscar-nominated costume designer and historian Deborah Nadoolman Landis, director John Landis’ wife.
The docu-series ”Meet The Costume Designers” (distributed by Prime Entertainment Group) where legendary Hollywood costume designers tell everything about their amazing work.
And ”Hollywood in Quarantine”, an unconventional short-documentary, shot through the middle of the lockdown, breaking down the boundaries, the bans from traveling and the social distancing. ”Hollywood in Quarantine” was an Official Selection at the Milano Fashion Film Festival 2021.
