I'm a London based Turkish journalist, researcher and camerawoman. Since graduating in journalism from the University of Istanbul, I've been working as a both freelance and full-time journalist for several different Turkish and International platforms. I worked for one of the only Turkish independent newspapers with the biggest audience- Gazete Duvar and due to the increasing oppression of the media and freedom of speech in Turkey, I moved to London in 2020. 

Since then I have been freelancing as a journalist, writer, researcher, photographer and camerawoman. After having experience in different departments in film and TV, I decided that I want to pursue a career as a researcher which allows me to use my skills in journalism, languages and communication.

I believe in the power of storytelling through the art of cinematography and have great passion in documentary filmmaking. Read Less
