My name is Guy Hawkins, I'm an award-winning freelance filmmaker based in North Oxfordshire with 18 years of industry experience ranging from broadcast television, documentaries, corporate, commercials, promos and automotive.

I have been Freelance for around 8 years and before that I was in-house Director and Senior Editor for a production company.

I began my career as an Editor and then spent time picking up cameras to eventually use those skills to help me become a Director. In all those roles I would categorise my style as cinematic, which might sound obvious but it's a way for me to describe an approach that I believe keeps me focused on what is important to a story.... A focus on being specific and acting with intent in everything that I do.
