I am an Australian/Italian screenwriter and award-winning filmmaker based in London. My filmmaking journey has been unconventional since I began my professional career as a Microbiologist. In my native Australia, I produced and directed the award-winning documentary “You Don’t Look Sick” which focused on the autoimmune disease Lupus. It premiered at the Star Doc Film Festival in L.A. and was reviewed in publications such as Influx Magazine.

When I first moved to the U.K. I started a project called 12aYear, where we made one short film a month for one year. I wrote four of the twelve produced short films, and my short “A Call To Arms”, our response to the #metoo movement, was supported by ERA 50:50 and premiered at Shorts On Tap in London.

After taking a short time off to have my son, I wrote and co-directed the Sci-Fi short “Mnemosyn: ResolutionService”. Mnemosyn has won Best Film at the L.A. SCI-FI and Horror film festival and Best SCI-FI at the Toronto’s Women’s Festival. I placed 6th overall in my group at the NYC Midnight Short Screenplay competition and was awarded a ScreenSkills bursary fund to attend the John Yorke advanced structure course.
