Hello! My name is Abi, and I’m a Scottish shooting researcher based in London.

When working on a production, I care about making an impact and supporting teams in every way I can. I’m experienced in finding and securing contributor access, spotting compelling stories, and setting up shoots across the UK. My work has included liaising with locations and contributors, operating cameras, and negotiating with both venues and props. I thrive in a collaborative environment, bringing a strong team spirit and a problem-solving mindset, whether that means adapting quickly on location or finding creative solutions under pressure.

I have a background in Immunology and Science Communication, which has really equipped me to support teams working on science and factual films. Sometimes, this is by quietly ensuring the facts are watertight so that we can focus on more interesting problems, and other times by shaping the narrative through the science itself. 

I’m eager to keep broadening my experience across all genres of filmmaking, and I’m really interested in storytelling in general and up for anything :). Read Less
